Arsenal Debate Speculation - Joe Hart Heading To Arsenal - Arsenal Debate - An Arsenal Forum For All Fans

Good news Arsenal supporters, it appears our beloved club are planning a £9m summer raid to bring Manchester City keeper Joe Hart to the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger has finally noticed what most Arsenal fans having been saying for a while and is not happy with first choice keeper Manuel Almunia and the Spaniard’s erratic performances, and the acquisition of the young keeper will surely reap dividends in years to come.

Currently on loan at Birmingham City the 22 year old has been frozen out at the City of Manchester Stadium where Shay Given is clearly their preferred choice. Birmingham manager Alex McLeish would love to sign the keeper on a permanent deal but may be put off by the large price tag whereas Arsene Wenger has been told he will be given a hefty cash injection to invest in his playing squad and the idea of paying £9m for Joe Hart will be a signing that the north London club will happily splash the cash for.

What are your opinions fellow gunners? Personally I felt Buffon at age 32 would have been the better option for the Arsenal team considering Vito Mannone looks more than capable of establishing himself as Number 1 in the future.

Whatever the outcome however, I'm sure Hart would prove to be an absolutely magnificent signing should he arrive at the Emirates.

He is one of the players ARSENAL fans have been calling for if this happens then we could have solved one part of the three variables we need to satisfy. He is sharop quick and most of the time alert and reads the situation.
