In the final match of the season Arsenal took on a weakened Fulham in an all enthralling match having the home fans desperate for a convincing victory. The Gunners faithful were certainly not disappointed after a 4-0 victory rounded of a somewhat decent campaign. Finishing 3rd in the Premier League is absolutely no easy task, however ending without a trophy for a 5th consecutive year should prove an obvious occurrence to the manager that his policy of breeding young players may not prove as fruitful as previously hoped.

After a poor run of self-inflicted defeats, the Arsenal players were under pressure to perform and finally secure 3rd place in the league. A visit to Blackburn is always difficult, and with the Gunners mounting injury list it was always going to be a difficult task. However, could the Arsenal team deliver a performance suitable to the Gunners faithful?
